Swimming
In an archipelago with over 30,000 islands, it's of course tempting to take a dip. On a warm summer day, there's a lot to choose from. You can swim from the rocks or beaches, at public bathing areas, or in a private bay. Swim in the ocean or a lake. Enjoy the sun, eat your packed lunch, and take another dip. In winter, you can choose to relax in an outdoor hot tub or combine a sauna with a swim in a "vak" (a hole in the ice). A refreshing feeling is guaranteed! With Sweden's "right to public access," you have the right to sunbathe wherever you want, as long as it’s not on someone's private property.
