A day at Artipelag

Artipelag is a new international venue for art, good food, events and activities – beautifully set on Värmdö in the Stockholm Archipelago, just 20 minutes from the city centre. Our intention has been to create a destination of high international quality – with boundary-crossing art exhibits, inspiring activities and good food.

There is ample space here – about 32,000 square feet. There are also activity spaces for children and youngsters, conference rooms of varying size and two restaurants – both with outdoor serving and magnificent sea views. Restaurant Artipelag is tailor-made for leisurely, pleasure-filled dinners with family and good friends, or conferences with business colleagues. Up here, one has the entire Baggen’s Bay at one’s feet.There are 350 parking spaces, a pier for passenger boats from Stockholm city and a long guest marina for visiting private boats.

Starting on November 4th, Artipelag will be bringing a bit of light to the winter darkness with an exhibition by Lars Wallin entitled “Fashion Stories”. Nearly 200 of the famous fashion designer’s stunning creations will be on display and visitors will be able to follow the creative process all the way from idea to sketch and finally to haute couture completion.
