Artipelag Värmdö

Artipelag is new and unique international forum where art exhibitions, innovative cultural activities, architecture, music, Swedish design and good food, living side by side with the beautiful archipelago environment. Artipelag is located on Hålludden located on Värmdö, about 20 km east of Stockholm.
The building covers 10,220 square meters and is carefully positioned among pine trees and rocks with magnificent views of Baggensfjärden. Artipelag is designed by the architect John Nyren, on behalf of the family company BabyBjörn AB.

In addition to cultural activities and outdoor experiences that includes nature trails leading through woodland, grassland and rocky, offering Artipelag also good food in two restaurants with outdoor dining and conference facilities, facilities for large events and banquets and a design shop with its own and well-designed products.

Directions

By car from Stockholm: car trip takes about 20 minutes from central Stockholm. Take Route 222 to Gustavsberg. Turn off at exit Hålludden. Then follow the signs to Artipelags parking.
Car from Värmdö Take the exit Värmdö marknad and keep right on Ingarö Road. At the first roundabout (by Coop) turn left and follow the only road that goes over route 222 and straight to Artipelag.
