Näsudden nature reserve

Åkersberga, Österåker

In Näsudden nature reserve you can experience a cultural landscape of great variety. Here there are hills with great views, old pine forests, hay meadows, pastures and beach meadows in good condition. Highland cattles and sheep graze in the area.

Näsudden nature reserve is an oasis in the inner Stockholm archipelago. The reserve is located in and managed by the Municipality of Österåker and instituted 2010.

Directions

From Stockholm by car E18
(Travel time about 30 min):
E18 towards Norrtälje. At Rosenkälla take exit No. 187 to Åkersberga (Route 276).
At the roundabout just before Åkersberga turn right towards Vaxholm.
After about 500 meters shows signs road to "Runö Training Center".

From Stockholm by car E4
(Travel time about 40 min):
Drive E4 north. At the junction Häggvik take exit No. 173 against Täby (Route 265).
Then follow signs to E18. After a while the signs Åkersberga (Route 276) up. Follow these. At the roundabout just before Åkersberga turn right towards Vaxholm. After about 500 meters shows signs road to "Runö Training Center".

From Stockholm by public transport
(Travel time about 45 min):
Take Roslagsbanan from the East Station (Subway Technology) to Åkersberga and then taxi (about 5 km) or get off already at Akers Runo and walk 2 km.

From Arlanda drive E4
(Travel time about 40 min):
E4 south towards Stockholm. At the junction Häggvik take exit No. 173 against Täby (Route 265). Then follow signs to E18. After a while the signs Åkersberga (Route 276) up. Follow these.
