Welcome to Norrgården!

Norrgården is an old archipelago homestead - a former farm - comprising two dwelling houses built in 1835 and 1920, respectively.

The larger of the two houses has four bedrooms with a total of ten beds. The smaller house has two bedrooms, each with two beds, and a living room with a sofa bed for two. Both houses have large kitchens which can seat ten and six people, respectively. Common areas are the living rooms, glass verandas, patios and there is joint shower and toilet facilities.

Ingmarsö is a living island community. There is a shop, a restaurant, a marina and a boat refueling station, There are lovely hiking trails, a coffee shop and a bakery. Bicycles and kayaks are available to rent. Trail riding with Icelandic horses, cultural walks and a tour of a farm with organic produce can be arranged.

Public transportation

Directions

Go by Waxholmsbolaget's boats from Stockholm or Vaxholm to Ingmarsö. The boat stops at both Northern and Southern Ingmarsö (Waxholmsbolagets route 12 and 13).

Alternatively, you can go from Åsätra/Ljusterö with the smaller boat Holly to Northern Ingmarsö (route 12) or a water taxi from Värmdö or Ljusterö.
